Gunter and Andrea Kiene (BTI, 1960s)

On behalf of many dearest students – your Dad had in BTI in the 60’s – Andrea and myself are deeply moved in our hearts to his passing away from this earthly life – but thankful for him reaching his destination – of which he was so aware and sure.   Our beloved Mr. Grogan was such a strong instrument in our lives to settle in our believe and dedication to our Lord Jesus.   Visiting your Mom and Dad last year for a wonderful heavenly visit on earth, Heinz and Heidi from Austria and my wife and I, do praise and thank the Lord.   How we wished we could have met more often.   But a trip to the UK was very seldom in our time since visiting the BTI.   We marvelled at the great remembrance your Dad had about all the ‘Continental Students’ he taught over the years. He knew them all and remembered many details of us.

I will make sure, that your information will be passed on to those, I am still in contact.   At the same time we do pass on special greetings and lots of love to your mom.   It was so kind to invite us up to their home.

At the same time let your family know, what big place your Dad had in all our lives  (It had to be, as most of us had to look up to him– as Geoff was a big man in a number of ways).   And he will keep this place in our hearts until we continue our conversation with him in the heavenlies  – at HIS perfect time.

To you and those who take care of all matters concerning the funeral and looking after Geoff’s dear wife – we wish you a blessed and still happy – home-going – day that all tears will be to praise and joy in HIM – whom your Dad presented so lovingly and vitally.

Yours in place of so many Germans who according to Phil 1,5 are united “in the fellowship in the gospel” from the early day in 1960’s until now!

Gunter and Andrea
